Join our 4-week Introduction to POT - Hand Building course. Taking you from a block of clay to a glazed pottery piece.
Each week, you'll join us at POT studios for a 2.5 hour class on Thursday evenings. In our workshops, POT supplies all clay, glaze and all of your pottery pieces created will be fired twice. Take a peek at the tabs above to see an outline of what to expect in our classes.
After completing one of our Introduction to POT courses, we then invite you to continue your pottery practise in our 3 hour POT MAKE sessions. In these sessions you'll have full use of our beautiful POT studio and the support of a POT mentor.

Design of and beginning work on your pottery piece.
We recommend coming to your Week 1 class with an idea on the pottery piece that you'd like to create. Ideas of this could be a hand-built dinner set, mugs, vases, plant pots or tiles.

Demonstration of different hand building techniques.
Continued work on your pottery piece.
// Week 3
Finishing touches on pottery pieces.
Preparation of pieces for their first firing.
The firing process and ways avoid things going wrong.
// Week 4:
Glazing pottery pieces.
Using wax to create a design on your pottery piece.
